Some ancient WEAPONS in Hindu Mythology

Today I’m going to share about some ancient Indian weapons which written in the epic ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mahabharata’.

There are portrayed many war stories in Ramayana and Mahabharata. We can find many powerful weapons used in that wars.

TRISHUL:-

Trishul is a most destructive weapon. It has three spear head. It carried by Lord Shiva. No one can stop Trishul after release it except Lord Shiva. The Trishul can cross off any supernatural weapons exist in portrayed in the Epic.

NARAYANASTRA:-

It is also a destructive weapons in that time. When it used millions of arrows create and hit the target. One man could use this weapon only once in his life time.

PASHUPATASTRA:-

This weapon is the most powerful weapon after the weapon of Lord Shiva and Lord Bishnu. This weapon can discharged by the eyes, by the words, by the words and of course by the Bow.

SUDARSHAN CHAKRA:-

It was a most dangerous weapon. It has 108 serrated edges. Mainly this weapon used Lord Bishnu and his avatar Sri Krishna. It is seen on the index finger of Bishnu dev and Sri Krishna. Lord Shiva gifted it to Lord Bishnu. It was formed by the dust of sun.

BRAHMASTRA:-

Brahmastra is a very destructive weapon. It is a most popular and known weapon in Hindu epic. It is considered that’s it is as powerful as nuclear weapons today.

This weapon is 4 times more powerful than Brahmastra.
