I am in my twenties and told my mom the other day that Ron Paul should run for president in 2020. He is the most qualified of our generation. He has proven to be able to unite the parties and to stand for what he believes. Here's to hope!

Did you not read Ben's reasons why this is alluring possibility is bad? If the conspiracy theorists are right, he would be a dead man. If he succeeds, he only tames the beast for a short time, and his efforts to streamline the system could make it stronger still in the long run.
You can't control the beast. It must be slain.
I don't think Ron Paul is the beast. I feel like he is the princess bride being fed to the beast. That he is stuck between a dragon that's trying to eat him and a crowd who says tame the dragon or we feed it to you. Maybe I saw the characters of the story in a different sense.
I see the beast as the government, the princess as a small whisper of a voice, the crowd as the people of the world, the king as the rulers of the world, and the saint as the church. Also, saw the river as the Native Americans journey through falling for the beast who seemed subdued at the time. Control and power do not have to go hand in hand. Power to let people free is something to be envied.
