Classical Mythology: The First Generation of the Gods
Gea, (the earth), born directly from Chaos, came to life without the help of any male element Uranus (the sky), the mountains and Pontus, the personification of the sea. It was a fatherless generation, born directly from Mother Earth and behind her the world as we know it was created.
The most important of this first generation of the children of the earth is undoubtedly Uranus, the sky conceived as an element of fertilization and viril, capable of joining the earth in a nearly eternal hug. This mythological image is extremely evocative; from the beginning it captures the importance of earth and sky for life; from the sky rises and rains, a kind that fertilizes the earth by enabling life as we know it.
Gea became pregnant after an infinite embrace with Uranus and in time she gave birth to Titans and Titanids, their sisters. Later cycles were born; 3 unattractive giants with a single eye, who would play a very important role in the approaching power struggles.
In the end Gea gave birth to 3 half-man giants, the 100-winged creatures named by this hecatonchires. This was the first generation of gods, deceived with far more elaborate names than the followers, which were no more than powerful elements or merely personifications of any natural phenomenon.
The Titanic generation represents the invasion in the territory of the heavens of true gods that we will soon be fighting for their survival. From the beginning Uranus hated his children and kept them hidden in their mother's bay, Geas, forbidding them to see the sunlight.
Burial in the depths of the earth, his children hated and feared. Then Gea protested the plan that in the future would mark the starting point of a new world. He waved a metal resistant with which he created a sickle and secretly called her children and proposed to be released from their awesome father.
Everyone was still terrified, except for the youngest of the boys, Titan Kron, what the Romans called Saturn. Equipped with a sharp mind, it was self-made to end this dangerous venture. He took the sickle and hid himself.
In the evening he waited for his father, who approached his wife to enjoy it, embraced him, and conquered him with his great body, and in those moments he felt a terrible pain, seeing the image of the brilliant eyes of the youngest among his sons.
In a moment the cataclysm cut off with a big fallen genitalia of her father. The young Titan kept him for a few moments in the hands and with a call of victory thrown into the sea. Uranus's rush went to the depths of the earth. Uranus's genitals fell to the sea and driven by wind and currents to the east, leaving behind a white foam.

When they arrived in the East, next to the white island of Cyprus, a girl came out of a unique beauty, which would eventually turn into the most beautiful and famous god; Aphrodite, called Venus in the Roman tradition.
Also the blood flowing from the Uranus genital mutilation fertilized the Earth again and thus the powerful Erinites identified as the Furions, the Great Giants, and the Nimphs, were called Meliad or Melie, the deities of the olives that were dispersed in the infinite land.
The Uranus was mutilated and closed in the depths of Tartar and Kroni, his youngest son took power in the heavens, but his happiness would not last long.
