Atlantis - Monument Ruins

Hello my Steemit friends today with the theory that North and South America just might be ancient Atlantis I bring you monument ruins, natural rock formations that might have been carved into sculptures a long time ago.

This is in Utah and locally called the "Three Bishops". It is huge and can be seen from a long distance away. The farther away one is from this the more it looks like a series of statues.

It is near the Colorado River. On the Canyon walls north of Moab, Utah there are countless petroglyphs on the sides of the canyon walls. some are simple and some are very complex.

I live out in the American west and have traveled all over the United States. On my way around the country, I saw many things that just do not fit. Or a better way to put it is the fit but they just might be something else than what we think. This is for fun to stretch the Envelope, think out side the pail and wonder was there a civilization here? Like the great architectural ruins in previous posts, there are rock formations that look like they could have once been carved statues.

This sure looks like ancient walls that have been shaped by natural forces over time does it not? Breathtakingly beautiful, this is not far from my house.

Chimney rock - There are many spires of Basalt that shoot skyward in the American west. They can be hundreds of feet tall and one wonders if they were once made by mankind and now look natural.

Pancake Rocks - Look like something similar to the Easter Island statues.

Utah Arches- This is but a sample of some of the many arches that are across the United States. Most of them require a four wheel drive to approach but they range from the bizarre to the elegant to the awe inspiring. Their sizes can be giant, seen from miles away.

Ship Rock - This really is not a good angle. When viewed from the highway it really does look like a huge sailing ship out in the middle of the desert. There are many types of rock formations that look like something and they are so huge in the Four Corners area where New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah meet.

Sphinx: they named this natural rock formation correctly didn't they?

This just had to be thrown in because it is obviously man made and there are several of these throughout the Western United States, just like in Mexico and countries south.

There are many places in Utah where rocks that look like cut stone are scattered across the floor of the desert, or great towers or skyscrapers look like they melted from heat. There are so many places that cause one to wonder and ask is this natural beauty caused by wind and erosion or the result of the end of Atlantis.
