Atlantis - Architectural Ruins - Mayan

in #myth7 years ago (edited)

Hello my Steemit friends today we delve into the Mayan ruins of North and South America to speculate as to the theory of whether or not Atlantis just might have been on these two continents on the west side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Like the Aztecs, the Mayans defy the linear evolutionary history we are taught. The sheer complexity, scope and size of their buildings that remain is mind boggling and strongly suggests a very advanced civilization that just disappeared. War seems most likely; a war with the east side of the Atlantic ocean but that might not have been the case.

The weather could have been absolutely horrible for the longest time with monstrous storms assaulting this part of the world for centuries. Diseases could have suddenly consumed the majority of the populations. Whatever happened to them, this is only a few remnants of what once must have existed to support the building of these massive well thought out structures. Earthquakes may have rocked the Earth and inhabitants to utter terror.

The Mayans were famous for supposedly predicting the end of the world in 2012 and maybe this false knowledge consumed them and the world is not gone yet. They had a theory that the world would soon end and that theory turned out to be false to date.

The Mayan carving of stone was intricate and in great detail. Image what this would have looked like when the sculptors first finished. Again, findings like these far in the future tend to question linear evolutionary theories and developments of civilizations. When the ancients made things that are either just as complex as or more complex than current civilization, the questions begs: what is the truth about the past? Are we taught the truth?

Strange truths emerged as architectural ruins of the ancient past of the Mayans were uncovered. The contemporary human population grew and found the ruins. Because the Mayans, like the Egyptians built many of their buildings to last a very, very long time.

When theories are made and new evidence shows up, instead of being ignored the new data must be included in order to stay true to the path of science. Several times in the past, civilizations rose and fell. They left great works of their existence for future generations to find and they built them very, very well.

A system of higher education is required in a complex society with very good tools and specialization is required to build and produce what once were not ruins of an ancient civilization.

I would love to hear your comments and suggestions to add to the final conclusion of a consolidation of the evidence that still exist Atlantis might just be here.

Excellent post! I like your work My friend

Thanks very much my friend @mars9 I am glad you enjoy it

I had never seen the first and last temples! They are amazing! thx for showing that

Yes, there is really some interesting stuff that shouldn't be there and shouldn't survive for as long as it has my friend @hervisson but OOPS! There it is

This is a wonderful post! I love seeing these remarkably beautiful and powerful buildings, I'm blown away. It seems like most civilizations destroyed themselves one way or another, much like we are currently and I truly wonder if this group is the exception?!

Thank you for your observations on this topic @natureofbeing and you ask a really good question. The answer I do not know.

We live on a planet with some very harsh weather and who knows. Constant bad weather just might be a very problematic catalyst to a civilization's fall but the Aztecs were guilty of constant warfare between the city states of the region. Fortunately, here in the United States we have relative peace within it.

I imagine that it might take more than constant bad weather unless you're talking about a global freeze or increase in temperature - as we know it doesn't take much of an increase to make a giant difference - but you could be on to something here. I too am VERY grateful for the relative peace here in the US, very! I'm now following you, your posts are really very interesting!

Just think if there were category 5 hurricanes every year for a hundred years what that would do, like if the storms of the Pacific that hit Asia hit the west coast of North and South America instead?

Yes that could certainly have a big impact!
