Can you find these people? My two year hunt for these sock puppet loving strangers in Croatia

In June of 2014 I was sailing in Croatia and I ended up at this bar in Dubrovnic or Lumbarda. We had been sailing for about a week and just dropping in on random bars on the coast - so I literally lost track of where we were most of the time and what place we were eating or drinking at.

Anyway, this particular night, everyone I was with went to bed early but I decided to stay behind and have a drink. It was after a couple drinks that these three people came up - 2 guys and 1 girl - toting of all things these freaky looking sock puppets with them. We started chatting and having drinks together - and to this day I can't remember why they had the sock puppets with them, but I remember they were very nice and quite funny. I believe they were British but I'm not sure.

After chatting w/ them a while I took their photos holding these puppets, which I then showed to them. They made me swear to send them the photos - and the taller gentleman gave me his twitter account name to send them to, which I committed to memory....

...and which I un-commited from memory the next morning.

I kept a lookout for them the next morning to no avail. I made several attempts to find the twitter account but had the wrong names (I felt I was close to remembering, but didn't find it). Every once in a while I try to find them (I know its not a big deal - sending these pics to them - I just like the challenge.)

Anyway, I thought it might be something all the sleuths out there could solve.
