Frano Selak also born under a lucky star, although for most of his life hardly think so. His case is truly unique. Or more cases - because Selak, a Croatian music teacher, was something of a magnet for accidents.
The first episode of the saga was in the cold of January 1962 train, which traveled to Dubrovnik Selak, derailed in nearby glacial river. 17 passengers forgiven with his life, but the music teacher escaped with only a broken arm and fear. It was the beginning of an epic race with death.
