My late Introduce Yourself post

I'm still feeling my way around steemit but I figure its about time I buckled down and created a quick and brief "Introduce Yourself" post

Who am I?

My name is Keith and I'm from Memphis, TN where I've lived my entire life.  I'm currently a Principle IT Business Analyst at a Medical Device company; which is just a fancy title for saying I'm the middle man between the actual smart people (developers) and the common folk.   I have an 8 month old daughter Zoë who I love dearly and has changed my life dramatically.

Hobbies

1. I'm a huge data analytics nerd and I actually enjoy creating reports at my job so much I use to do them for fun in my spare time.  I don't do this anymore since my daughter was born.
2. I recently became obsessed with block-chains and machine learning.  (If you know of any good reads, please leave them in the comments.
3. I love to travel and plan on using my frequent flyer miles to go to either South Africa or Dubai for my 30th Birthday next year.

Fun Facts

1. I'm one of 23 brothers and sisters on my dad side
2. I have an impacted tooth which looks cool on X-ray.  My baby tooth is still there as well.
3. I created Signal Analysis software for a Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) Machine for the University of Memphis as part of a science fair while I was 16 because I made a bet with my friend on who would have the most spending money for a field trip.  He had an inheritance and I had a job at Toys R Us, and even though I didn't win the bet still, doing that open a lot of doors for me and I eventually got a job as a tutor at the U of M that summer.
