Roses Season - MyPictureDay #26 Submission
Hello dear friends,
This is the first time I enter this challenge hosted by @timsaid, details here. I've read previous posts but not felt inspired since all my days are pretty much the same: morning coffee, children's breakfast, kindergarten etc. The only free moments of the day are dedicated to checking Steemit or reading.
Today it was different though. We went for a walk, the whole family and, apart from the usual ice cream, we noticed the beauty of the roses which started to bloom. In Romania, roses are planted all over the place: gardens, parks, streets.
This beautiful flower inspired all great artists: musicians, poets, painters or writers. The quote I love the most is something what great painter Henri Matisse said:
There is nothing more difficult for a truly creative painter than to paint a rose, because before he can do so he has first to forget all the roses that were ever painted.
Being surrounded by all these beauties and their fragrance, also having in mind Henri Matisse's words, I decided to test my smartphone camera, a Huawei P8 device.
What can I say? I'm pleased with the result. What do you think?
