A number of horses driven by a young jockey rode fast when following the traditional race of Gayo horses, Takengon, Central Aceh. Province of Aceh, Sumatra.
Strong horses have competed every year at important events in Gayo land, taken from outside Aceh, and there are also mated on Gayo land, no wonder the price of Gayo Horse reaches hundreds of millions of rupiah.
This tough Gayo horse race is only in the highlands of Gayo Takengon, Bener Meriah, Gayo Lues, and Southeast Aceh, because the highlands are cool areas that support the habitat of life and breed Horses.
I photographed many of these tough Horse photos with a young jockey who was riding their horse with full movement and expression.
