Los hombres del mar /The men of the sea - MyPictureDay Submission-
La bahía de Juangriego en la isla de Margarita (Venezuela) es un lugar ideal para disfrutar los atardeceres mas hermosos de la isla, pero también es un sitio donde innumerables pescadores tienen a resguardo sus botes y desde donde salen todas los días o noches a faenar al mar. Hace unos días fui a tomar algunas tomar fotos del atardecer pero me llamó la atención la actividad que se desarrollaba a esa hora, un grupo de pescadores preparándose para salir a pescar en la incipiente noche.
The bay of Juangriego on the island of Margarita (Venezuela) is an ideal place to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on the island, but it is also a place where innumerable fishermen have their boats safe and from where they leave every day or night to fish Sea. A few days ago I went to take some pictures of the sunset but I was struck by the activity that was taking place at that time, a group of fishermen preparing to go fishing in the early night.
Primero cargando e instalando el motor fuera de borda, y llevando a bordo los enormes bidones de combustible.
First loading and installing the outboard motor, and carrying the huge fuel drums on board.
Luego recogiendo los cabos y el ancla, ya casi listos para zarpar a trabajar en el oscuro mar.
Then picking up the lines and the anchor, almost ready to set sail to work in the dark sea.
Casi olvidan al mas joven, un muchacho casi un niño, que ya se embarca para ir aprendiendo las destrezas de la pesca y los misterios y peligros del mar.
Almost forget the youngest, a boy almost a child, who is already embarking to learn the skills of fishing and the mysteries and dangers of the sea.
Luego disfruté de un hermoso atardecer, y cuando se ocultó el sol, la imagen fue mucho mas hermosa.
Then I enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and when the sun went down, the image was much more beautiful.
Y justo antes de irme, logre captar estas hermosas imágenes de dos pescadores arrastrando su red, buscando capturar algunos peces o mariscos en la costa, con el imponente fondo de los inmejorables tonos de rojos y naranjas del inigualable atardecer de la bahía de Juangriego.
And just before leaving, I managed to capture these beautiful images of two fishermen dragging their net, looking to capture some fish or seafood on the coast, with the stunning background of the unbeatable shades of reds and oranges of the unequaled sunset of the Bay of Juangriego.
