MyPictureDay - Day on the beach
Spending time on beach is relaxing, fun, not to mention good for your health (if you apply slip, slop, slap rule). Yesterday I spent beautiful day on Yorke Peninsula - Italy has its boot, South Australia has a sock.
When people are near the water, waves and sandy heaven they forget about everything !
I am totally different, with camera in my hand I usually pay more attention to details and really enjoy taking pictures which sometimes can turn out to be real piece of art.
Crooked pole...who knows what happened here...
Parking fence and resting benches made interesting eye catching composition.
Working ant caught in action.
Way to a beach is not always care free.
The Ethel shipwreck has been a landmark of southern Yorke Peninsula since it was wrecked in 1904. It’s anchor standing on a rock as a reminder to that tragic event. Upclose it looks spectacular, weathered, rusted...
Beautiful sand dunes and Australian plants made my day even more enjoyable.

Hope you will like this micro photo journey and thanks for stopping by.
Lol, it's a beautiful sock, I must say 😁 Do these places ever get crowded?
No...this is national park and beaches stretch for kilometres ...oasis of tranquility...no hotels, crowds...all you can find there are stunning beaches and people who love nature, camping and surfing
Oh :) That's my kind of place!
I loved all of your photos and story. But I was drawn to the rusted anchor and chains for some reason. There is so much texture on them and I can see the metals layering as the rust invades their space. They will crumble soon like old wood. Glad you got a shot of them.
Thank you again, dear, they are my favourite too! Textures look awesome on photos!
Photos look awesome

Your welcome my friend
Hi there!
Love those photographs of the rusty anchor! The last time I was down at MM Beach in Port Kembla, I found an old engine block. I only had my old iphone 4s to take photographs, but it looked so interesting with the sea foam behind it.
I ought to drop by there again.
If you also enjoy reading a bit of travel writing, I'd love it if you took a look at some of my recent writing. My last two articles were about Old Helensburgh Station and the Australian Museum in Sydney.
We also made a three day trip out to Wombeyan Caves in NSW which was immensely fun. The first part of a three part write up is here.
Thanks for your contributions on Steemit. Remember to tag #teamaustralia and get involved!
All the best,
Nick
