Guarding my STEEM with new EDC - How do you guard yours?
Decided to upgrade my Every Day Carry (EDC) for Xmas. Any other CC folks out there? My new Sig P365 (Born on 2018/11/17) has replaced my Glock 30 .45 as primary EDC. Shown with shiny new 12rd. mags, Talon rubber grips, and Hydra-shocks along with my Browning "Black Label" blade for all you edged fans. Shown with the Glock 30 for comparison in one photo and the close up of grips in the other. My brother got me hooked on these Talon grips and I must have them on all my non-wood grip weapons now. Replaced the Hogue slip-ons for the Glock with the Talons and never went back.

A very nice new toy, but what was wrong with Glock? Too massive?
Well, the Glock 30 is pretty small, but still heavy when fully loaded. I'm pretty much a .45 bigot and had given up most of my smaller pistols since moving to Colorado. This new Sig p365 is just so darned small and light, and can still carry either 10 or 12 rounds of 9mm (depending on magazine choice). It has had great reviews, and no wonder. It is the same size or smaller than most similar weapons with single stack magazine that only hold 6-7 rounds. Yet it still shoots "like a big gun", giving far above average accuracy for it's size.
This will be my primary spring/summer carry as it can easily fit in shorts or other small pocket, easily concealable and comfortable to carry around. They are still hard to find, as they are so popular right now, most stores can't keep them in stock. Well worth the trip to find one and check it out, but be prepared to purchase, cause it will be hard to walk away!

Here, in Israel, we do not have the luxury of owning multiple weapons. Only one gun per person.
I used to carry Glock 17 for long enough time to appreciate any weight saving. So yes, your choice looks like highly reasonable!
Thanks for your feedback, very interesting. The image painted by our media is that everyone over there is walking around with submachine guns strapped around their shoulders. Nice to hear a voice from the real world. Sorry for your restrictions. Seems senseless to me.
Yea... I used to carry M-16 and Galil assault rifles for long 3 years of my military service in Israel Defense Forces. Actually all those pictures of guys with sub-machine guns are of soldiers in leave. Once you are mobilized, you do not give up arms during vacations.
Regarding guns for civilian population, it's for sale only to certain population groups: settlers, owners of small businesses and several more. You kind of should justify why you need a gun for self-defense.
Ah, if only we were allowed to carry here in Australia.
What? No carry over there? I guess my impression was that it was very gun friendly over there, more like wild west lol with open carry common. Surprised!
There's a no-carry law right across Australia. Since the Port Arthur massacre (34 dead, 1 shooter) our laws tightened up significantly. It's just how it is I guess.im not happy with it but what choice do we have I suppose.
