Nice White Papio (Trevally) - Big Island Hawaii

As the sun was going down last night I picked up this nice sized White Papio. I was whipping from the sandy area and it took the lure fairly close to shore.

It them went crazy and went straight out to sea. I have dove this area and I know that the bottom was sandy until a long way out and thus I was confident I would not get cut off as long as I kept the fish from going to the far right.

The fight was pretty intense but it was easier due to the sandy bottom. I used the small waves to bring the fish in.
