[MyEtherWallet] Creating a (new) keystore-file using your private-key

 Hello,

You accidentally deleted your keystore-file or exported your private-key from another wallet which didn't provide a keystore-file?
No problem, you can simply generate a new one. Some of you may think you can just download your keystore-file using the 'View Wallet Info'-Tab, but this only works if were using your keystore-file as login-method.
If you're using your private-key there won't be any option for downloading your keystore-file.

Now why should you even use the keystore-file if you've already got your private-key? Thats simple. The keystore-file is encrypted and requires a password while the private-key is plaintext and doesn't require any further authentication.

To generate yourself a new keystore-file you'll need:
- Your private-key
- Google Chrome (Download: https://www.google.com/chrome/index.html#)

1. Install the official MyEtherWallet-Chrome-Extension

(You can also find this link by clicking on 'MyEtherWallet Chrome Extension' in the lower right of the MyEtherWallet-Website)

2. Open the extension by clicking on the green icon in the upper right of your browser

3. Click 'Add Wallet', tick the checkbox 'private key', enter your private-key into the textbox and click 'Unlock'

4. Below the textbox you'll find two new textboxes: 'Create a Nickname' and 'Enter a password'.
The 'Create a Nickname' field doesn't really matter - it's just the name the extenstion shows for the wallet...
However the 'Enter a password' box is important - this will be the password you're using to login when logging in using your keystore-file --> don't forget it!
After filling both boxes click 'Add wallet'.

5. Open the extension like in step 2 and click 'My Wallets'

6. Now find your wallet and click on the eye on the right side.

7. Enter your password and click 'View Wallet info'

8. Now you'll find the section 'Keystore File (UTC / JSON · Recommended · Encrypted)' on the left side... Click 'Download'

9. Congratulations - you just downloaded your keystore-file.
