This is @mydailycolor Tuesday Green. My Aunt passed away in the 1980's and this jar was in her refrigerator I took it home and put in in my refrigerator, it is full of Golden-seal.

Golden Seal is a great herb and very expensive to buy...!!!!
@annephilbrick how long does it last? I have had it for over 30 years and I have no idea how long my aunt had it. I remember being a kid and helping my Dad fill capsules with golden seal, he took it all the time. Hell I might have a million dollars worth of it, lol.

I would say it's lost it's medicinal properties. Even if had made into a tincture which last longer..it still would be long past it's prime. But wow that alot of Goldenseal. I wonder if it was foraged in the wild..

@annephilbrick I do not know where she got it from. I have never been able to throw it out, i do not know why, but now that I have had it all these years and all the kids grew up seeing it in the fridge and now grandkids have seen it. I wonder which one will end up with it and if they will keep it in their fridge, they have all called it the mystery jar. lol
