RE: My Curie Story - How a fairy visited me overnight and how it made me happy and a bit sad as well

in #mycuriestory7 years ago

Yeah honestly it is a shame. I often visit posts that I have submitted to Curie later on and see that my comment is still the only one there. (I am a curie curator - I submitted your post ;) ) Curie obviously can't solve the broader issues of engagement and discover-ability (the latter of which is more of a platform level issue - steemit.com does not make it easy to find posts outside of browsing through tags). But at least we can foster a community of curators and motivate them to look through posts and actually read them, and actually try to reward the good ones :) I think there is value in that, even if it is not the answer to the root problems. It is still good to have an actual chance of receiving a big payout for quality posting. Cheers - Carl

Must really be sad to come back to find the comment still alone sitting in there..yeah..it's weird, I can't really say what could be the solution to this. I thought that authors could maybe set an question about the text and you can vote just after you answer the question correctly...but that'd be a suicide by the author of post cuz he'd be basically getting just less rewards and noone is up for than...I really dont know, let's see how will it all play out...anyway, still big potential in Steemit!
