Once again I share a photo of my daughter. She is Ukrainian, and likes to wear a wreath on her head. In my opinion it is suit her very well. It is impossible to imagine Ukrainka without a bright wreath on her head. What do the ribbons in the wreath symbolize?
Very interesting selection, a combination of colors and the arrangement of ribbons in a wreath. To the flower-decorated head of a young girl was tied with 12 colors. Each of them served as a beauty healer and amulet, protecting the hair from evil eyes.

The tapes were selected according to the length of the girl's hair and made them hardly longer than the braid to hide it among the colorful flowers.

A light brown ribbon was tied in the center of the wreath. It symbolized the land-wet nurse. On both sides of the first tape tied yellow - a symbol of clear sun. Further - light green and dark green - beauty and youth. And then - blue and blue - symbols of the sky and water, endowing with strength and strong health. Then came the orange - a symbol of bread, purple - wisdom, crimson - sincerity, pink - a symbol of well-being and prosperity.
