The Fair - Show Us Your California
Hi Friends,
This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we show an aspect of our California.
My family and I went to the fair today.. along with 50,000 other people (so it seemed)!
The Los Angeles County fair comes around once a year for 3 to 4 weeks. It is usually held in September, but they have canceled the last couple due to covid. It seems everyone was anxious to get back again, as it was packed.
We still had a good time, and managed to do some fun things and mostly avoid the crowds. Some highlights included gold panning, a kids magic show, cow milking demonstration, ice cream taste testing, and seeing the baby animals. Here are some pics:
The biggest bummer of the day is all the food lines were long so I didn’t enjoy any deep fried desserts like usual. I had my eye on deep fried Oreos, but the lines didn’t seem worth it to me. Oh well, next time!
Thanks for coming by and seeing a little piece of my California.
Brian
