Stuck - Show Us Your California

Hi friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.

This was a wild weekend here in Southern California. The hype was a coming hurricane that would lessen into a Tropical Storm 1 when it hit our area. Given a hurricane in California is a rarity given prevailing wind patterns and ocean currents, it was all the talk for the last few days.

However, when it finally did hit, it was not as bad as feared and was more similar to a rainstorm, of which we have had a number this year. The rain did confine us inside though, so we watched more TV than normal and lounged around. Here are the kids hanging out on the couch:

The rain is supposed to stop on Monday, so it will be a fairly short storm. Hopefully we can get back to the nice weather shortly thereafter!
