Santa Monica Piet: Show Us Your California

This post is an entry into the weekly contest of #socalsteemit where we show our california.

One of the iconic landmarks of California is the Santa Monica Pier. The pier itself is quite a spectacle, drawing side show type entertainers, numerous restaurants, a roller coaster, and more. Today, I found myself in the area and snapped a pic of the entrance, and an ocean shot at the very end of the pier... check them out:

The pier is fun to visit occasionally but I also enjoy the area in general, as there are lot of things to do and upscale bars/eateries.
