Magical Roses - Show Us Your California

Hi friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.

Today, I wanted to share about one particular rose bush that is somewhat unique - it seems the flowers change colors each year! I feel like they used to be purple roses, then red roses, then pink roses…. Now, they look like this:

It is a cool hybrid orange at the moment, lol. Not sure if rain has an effect, but it has been unseasonably wet this year so maybe that is contributing to the unique color.

Maybe flowers so change colors so it is nothing, but sure seems like a magical rose bush to me!
