High Gas Prices - Show Us Your California

California is known for its high cost of living, and right now, gas prices are proving the point. Check these out:
Certainly the high cost to rent the space has to be factored into the cost for the businesses, but there are many state, local and federal taxes included in the cost of a gallon of gas. Additionally, California tweaks the blend by law, so at various points during the year, everyone is forced to switch to different blends and there has been scheduled “maintenance” on some of the California refineries, further pushing the cost higher.
Of course, gas is also high right now due to the geopolitical tensions, OPEC issues, supply chain constraints, etc - plenty of things to blame.
Oh well, I can’t exactly fix the issues, so I will just have to grin and bear it - or ride my bike!
