Game over - Show Us Your California

Hi friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.

With school close to coming to an end, it also means another thing - it is about time for little league baseball to end as well. My wife and I have have been coaching our daughters and sons teams, respectively, and it has been a lot of fun. But it has also been a lot of work.

The season ends with a tournament, and my son’s team won the first two games before being knocked out. It was a fun season, but at this point, it is game over:

We didn’t quite crash and burn like my son trying to jump that barrier, and it is a relief to have 2 to 3 nights per week back without baseball commitments. Will we do it again next year though?? Absolutely! :)
