My 2018: A TOUR AROUND MY TOWN. SHOWCASING THE UNIVERSITY OF PORTHARCOURT.

Hello everyone, i just found about this contest about 3 days ago and i have to say that this was a brilliant idea brought by @anomadsoul.

I am currently a student studying at the university of portharcourt and i live in the university campus. The campus is a very beautiful place to be with a lot of nice place  where one can connect with nature. The campus is blessed with wide variety of art work. Here are some sculptures that can be found on the campus

These sculptures were created by student of the university as part of their project work and they are very nice

The next pictures shows the rear view of the university library. It was built about 25 years ago but it still looks nice despite not been well maintained.

The next picture below shows the university senate building. It was also built about 25 years and its the center of all the adminstrative activities in the university.

Talking about the food that trends on campus here we have variety of food ranging from rice, beans plantain porridge  etc. But you would not want to miss our egusi soup and fufu.

Infact i fall sick if i stay like 2 days without eating it.

The university is home to about 30000 student so every where is always buzzing  with a lot of activities  going on. And its very fun.

So next time you are in portharcourt Nigeria please do well to visit UNIPORT.
