As someone who has only drank bottom shelf champagne before, I have to ask the question... was the Dom Perignon worth the price?

well, let's just put it this way. had I been offered, say, a blind taste test of Prosecco versus Dom, I'd probably get the "expensive one" wrong every time... lol
