My 2017: Welcoming the new year. Attempt at a recap

I had no idea of this contest up until this evening. All thanks to @hokpulor for keeping me in the dark.
First i have to scream out a fresh batch of Happy New Year to you all.. Glad you made it across
I welcomed to year 2018 in my local church(WordAlive Embassy international) with family and friends. The 00.00 mark was met with chaotic screaming and jubilation followed by the biggest fireworks display i have ever seen(now i am feeling guilty i don't have a picture).
Drinking and shouting and dancing was the order of the day(or night
