My pumpkin patch
I have begun a pumpkin patch because I love pumpkins and Halloween. I'm preparing the soil now and then in March I will plant the seeds so I can have pumpkins before October. March is the perfect time to plant pumpkins in Phoenix Arizona and maybe make some pumpkin pie mmmmmm!
To properly plant pumpkins you must have a 12 inch hill of soil and space the seeds out. Place 3 or 4 seeds per hill and space each seed 2 feet apart. The blocks you see in the corners are seedling soil from Home Depot. Just water them and they expand into ready to use soil.
