My good old Fluke 85 Multimeter, has some display elements that can be difficult to read. I suspect that the battery is nearly empty, So I dismantle it, and is investigating the matter.

I'm talking about two other multimeters, and the value of having more than one. such as now, when I need to measure the battery in my Fluke.
But also just, that there's not so bad to have a cheap meter, for the rough stuff.
