It is the season of celebration, the long awaited Christmas is here again, a holiday period during which all the children have vacated from school. It is winter, everyone are fully covered from head to toe because of the winter cold,

the snow falling again and again, drifting against the windows of the buildings, politely begging for entrance and falling with disappointment on the ground and piling up along the streets. With snowboarders riding along the streets on top of the piled up snow.

Men, women and children all dressed on different attires made from red and white fabrics and with other Christmas costumes and clothes, working along the streets and waiting in anticipation for the 25th day of the month of December. The streets are colorfully decorated with varieties of Christmas costumes and brilliant light, and with Christmas trees placed in strategic places along the street. Different houses and homes are also beautifully decorated and well lighted.

Also, churches, their choirs and pastor are very busy, eagerly preparing and organizing series of programs and carol services. Jesus’ birth is being preached in almost all church Sunday services.

Parents and children are rooting out their savings for Christmas to make sure they get the best clothing for themselves and their loved ones. With the street so busy because of the Family traveling here and there to their respective places of residence or family houses. images(4).jpg

Uncles and aunties traveling from their place of residence with their spouses and children to the big family house were Grand ma and Grand pa are resident to spend the holiday with them. Guys get to visit their old friends and class mates. Exchange of gifts between parents and children and amongst their loved ones.

The kids eagerly waiting for the day they would go for Christmas party and also visit Santa clause to get gift from him.

The children are dancing and jumping up and around the house even without hearing the sound of music, they cannot wait to taste grand ma's Christmas food, the joy of Christmas has overwhelmed their hearts. Christmas song is being sung and played along every street and houses and every song writers are so eager to write lyrics and sing new Christmas songs.
Truly the spirit of Christmas has saturated the atmosphere. They joy of the new born king has over crowded our hearts. Indeed Jesus is the reason for the season.
