True Love; A Necessity In Marriage

Love is one of the frequently used words in the society.

Looking at the many cases of failed marriages, broken families and deceitful relationships, the question of the meaning of love begs for an answer.

Many people marry for the wrong reasons. Some marry because of pressure, fear, old age, force, beauty, prestige, wealth, poverty etc.

A vibrant promising lady of 40years feels she has grown too old , then she rushes into marriage for the fear of not getting married.

A young successful man, out of pressure from his parents, gets married to a lady he barely knows because his parents feel that the success of a man is visible in his family.

A lady from a poor background is forced to marry a wealthy man so as to liberate her family from poverty.

Out of the quest for children, a lady is forced into marriage so that she can give birth to grandchildren for her parents before thier death.

A man out of his desire for beauty and the pleasures of life, marries a pretty woman because of her looks and physique.

Parents of various families use thier children as objects to concretetize family relationship by ensuring that their children gets married to each other.

In all of these, love which is a necessity for marriage is ignored.

These leads to infidelity, unfaithfulness, domestic violence, constant quarrels and fighting, regular naggings, unrest, frustration, lack of peace, lack of attention, disregard and disrespect, neglegence, lies, deceit, dishonesty, divorce, hurts, betrayal, death, etc

Marriages have failed because of minor issues that could have been resolved amicably between both parties.

A man throws his wife out of his house because she cannot cook and keep their home in order.

Lack of trust has collapsed many marriages. Mere suspicions of infidelity which resulted to be false have led to the end of marriages.

Marriages have ended due to certain unforseen challenges and difficulties. A man loses his job and things becomes hard in the family and the woman feels she cannot continue with the marriage.

A barren wife, goes into marriage without telling her husband of her situation. This places the couples on perpetual childlessness.

All these are a result of the lack of love. Love which is the foundation and a necessity for marriage is absent.

Marriage is a union between a man and a woman rooted in love. It is a covenant of genuine love.

True love should be the reason for marriage because it endures forever. True Love accommodates and embraces. True love forgives, understands, supports, sustains, strengthens. True love is patient, it leads to peace, joy and happiness.

Love is that strong feeling of sincere affection for the other person. Love is an unselfish and loyal benevolence towards the other person. Love desires the good of the other person.

A man that truly loves his wife will do anything to make her happy, he will go any extent to make her smile. He will never want to see her sad because what hurts her hurts him and whatever makes her happy, makes him happy.

True love makes a woman to be supportive to her husband in all situations be it good or bad. A loving wife would not insult or nag at her husband for his inadequacies rather, she will support him.

Love in the family builds trust. Love enables a man to completely believe his wife regardless of what people say about her. Love eliminates all forms of lies and deceit in the family.

A loving husband will not for any reason, beat his wife. Even if she does the craziest things on earth, he will not lay a finger on her because he loves her.

True Love is pure and spotless, it is sincere and open. True Love tolerates, understands, forgives and forgets.

Truly love makes a man to see his wife as his equal and soul mate. True love makes a man to see his wife as his priority and responsibility. True love makes a man to stand by his wife at all times in all situations.

True love builds and sustains marriage. It makes up the home and family. Love keeps the family united and peaceful.

True Love enables couples to settle their differences amicably. When misunderstands come, out of love the couples are able to resolve them.

True Love is the starting point to any healthy and meaningful relationship. True Love cannot and does not lead to divorce and broken families rather, it units and strengthens.

True Love is the solution to failed marriages and a pre requisite for a lasting union of a man and woman.

True love is real and it can be found. People should not get married for the wrong reasons. Love should be the reason and starting point for marriage.
