MWC2018 is about the telecom. But what about robotics?

Just some of my photos from Mobile World Congress 2018. 5G is an enabler for robotization. So you shouldn't be suprized when you met the robot or drone at MWC2018?

Looks like an avatar, which can repeat the movements of the operator.

Colloborative robots Universal Robots are probably robots which you can met at the Exhibition most often.

Here is Jibo. It is boring.

It is... well, rover for the Moon.

Industrial robot Fanuc M-1iA 0.5S. It is not something really interesting, while it is cool. The most interesting - there is some box to the left from robot - it is the computer vision system. With such a system, it is much more easear to re-allocate this robot to another job. And the cost of the system is not too high - just about Y1 mln.

It is not real robot, it is just prototype of the personal transport system. It is driverless connected car with the infotiment system.

This is not robot, but... it is close. It is demo, how can IoT system work. Smart home take care about greenhous.

Another colloborative robot by Universal Robots. It is mounted on the mobile platform. Could be solution for the modern industry, where you need to have possibility quickly reallocate you robotic power from goal to goal, from one place to another.

Industrial robot ABB with very complex, quick and powerfull gripper. Huawei + China Mobile.

Some medical device ... well, for ultrasound surveys. Demo, I assume.

Home robot ASUS Zenbo. Not very attractive, if you ask me.

And some drones

Here the system, which is usefull if you need to bring the ability of the communication for some plece. For example, after the natural disasters.

Well, that is enough, I guess to know, that modern telecom could be an enabler for the modern robotics development and exploatation.
