Timothy Brown—aka. "the Berlin Patient"—is the ManWho Once Had HIV.

Brown was considered cured of his infection afterreceiving two bone—marrow transplants to treat acutemyeioid leukaemia.

The bone marrow he received came from a donorwhose genes carried a rare mutation that made themresistant to HIV, called CCRS—delta 32, which was transferred onto Brown.
