They say that an organized wardrobe is the first sign of a disciplined lifestyle. If you find difficulties In choosing clothes I say organize them according to you life style. And when its shirts id say keep them separated. Keep your casual ones in one side, then formals on the other, Mostly it depends on what you always wear and might need for the next week.

For example, I'm a student. So I mostly use casual shirts throughout the week. So ill chose 7-10 and hang them in the hanger. Others I keep in a drawer folded. Don't hang what you don't need. And another way would be keeping several hangers in your closet. Then catagorize all of them and keep them minimalisticaly organized. That's how you should arrange your shirts and it is same for every other clothing you have.
