It's comforting to note that we are on the same page. I have been taking a lot of time off from the platform as well and I articulated it quite unsuccessfully in my recent post. I guess I just had to let it out without concerning myself of formatting and proofreading (or maybe because I was so sleepy yet knew that if I dont blurt it out, the thought will eventually be lost). Also, I have been reading and writing as well so I guess I can cross that off from your list. Still, its great advice.
