Can violence against others be justified for the wrongs they do to us?
This is a very trickery question. A "Yes" answer would mean approving of violence under a guide of repaying others in their coin. Much as this sounds deserved, it could also be a call to anarchy.
A "No" answer could mean condoning tyranny and refusing to hold others to account.
My answer therefore is, "Treat others as you would have them treat you!"
