I try oh so very hard to keep that spirit alive all year. Usually with humor it helps. And trying to find the light side of life. There IS a lot around everywhere. But it can be hard to do sometimes. Really boggles the mind how people treat one another sometimes. As you say, it takes a huge effort and mindfulness to keep it going in the positive directon. Thanks for the reminder of such, it is so true, and NOT seasonal. Why IS Christmas so much that way? Food for weekend thought. Speaking of which, hope your weekend is a grand one. And the blossoms are booming everywhere there. An amazing place this time of year. Cheers my friend.
I have no doubt but you try really hard all year long, I have no doubt but you do it without trying. There are just some people that are automatically happy, or automatic that's the wrong word but it is in their disposition to carry a happy face. I think you're one of those people and despite your pragmatic attitude towards many things, I do believe that you carry around a happy heart in your pocket.
I adore hearing your thoughts and I love hearing about your life and what you think of life and how you're living life. Of course, many would never say it but there's just something light and cheerful about your attitude and about your words. So thank you for stopping in and making my day, once again. I'm behind as usual. Thanks so much for the very nice thoughts. I do try, though it at times takes effort, it's not usually THAT hard. You just have to look for the colorful lining in most of life's 'things'. They're everywhere, all around. (I was going through story ideas and photos all day, by GOLLY I have a lot to write. It's EVERYWHERE. ) And as for a positive attitude, I've discovered not reading a ton of the news can help too. The old ostrich head in the sandy beach sort of thing, I suppose.
I am glad I can entertain in my thoughts here. They just sort of come out when I type, and so that's what you get. Lots of Schteinnwords. No telling where they're going at times. Glad the stories I tell aren't TOO boring. I kind of drabble on now and then. But like I mentioned, there is SO much to all of this that is fun and fascinating. I always enjoy a banterous yawl* with you on here. You have a very kind spirit and are easy to talk and more importantly, laugh with on the box here. It takes two to tango, and between you and I and your and my discussions with OGP, I get a lot of guffaws myself. Tango, Babble and Chortle. A new band.
Well, I'm off to a bike ride before the folks that yell at me at night come out on the bike lane. They're few and far between, but for some reason, a few get very disdained by my bright bike light. "But I gotta see where I'm going, Dude. Otherwise, I end up pedaling off and into the drink." Don't want THAT. Talk about a damper to an evening. (or dampening). See, there I go.
