Is experience really the best teacher?

I am sure everyone is familiar with the word "Experience is the Best Teacher" either some people told us directly or we heard it from other sources. The statement experience is the best teachers may have different meanings depending on how the narrator narrates and explain such statements.

Experience is the best teacher may simply means avoiding one's past mistakes. As humans we can never be 100% perfect and this simply means we will surely make mistakes either by ignorance or forgetfulness depending on the level of one's mistakes.

I strongly believe experience is the best teacher and the best way of practicing what yo've learnt from others is by avoiding making the same mistakes repeatedly. Experience will give you an insight or imagination of what you about to do provided you've once done it before. It makes you feel comfortable, confident and positive minded when it comes to result because you already had the experience and this is nothing other than you learning some important lessons from your past experiences or mistakes.
