Love is an emotion that starts from a feeling of love that is very strong and there is interest in an object, it can be humans, animals, plants, and various other objects. Love will cause you to have a sense of empathy, attention, love, and tend to want to sacrifice and always want to follow whatever is desired by a loved object.

Actually love itself is very difficult to define, because love is a subjective nature and everyone must have different explanations, it depends on the experience that has been experienced and how to live it.

However, generally love is a feeling given by Allah SWT to a pair of humans so that they have each other, understand each other, fulfill each other and love each other.

Because we as human beings, then the definition of what love is not far from one's feelings towards the opposite sex because of an interest in something. Something here means through face, nature or other.

In general, too, the feeling of love is expressed to:

Family
Friends
Beloved of the opposite sex
Fellow humans
To himself
Against his religion
Against a particular concept
Against his country
And many more

As mentioned above that love cannot be explained just like that, there will be many definitions of love. But there are also those who agree on what real love is.

Love is a gift from Allah SWT that is given to a pair of humans to have each other, fulfill each other when there is something lacking, mutual understanding and of course love each other.
Love is a person's feeling towards the opposite sex, the cause of interest because there is something that is owned by the opposite sex (such as face, nature and others).
Love is a warm feeling that makes you aware of your worth, so that we are also aware that there is also value that must be protected.
No one knows when he came and when he left, even the owner of the feeling.
Love means so much, what matters is how you put that love in your daily life.

The Meaning of Love in Psychology
In the official science of psychology, love is divided into 3 parts, namely love because of lust, pragmatic and altruistic love.

Love Because of Lust

Love results in feelings that make you unable to control emotions, so that emotions control a person's common sense that causes spontaneous behaviors to result from excessive emotional stimulation.

Pragmatic Love

Pragmatic love is love that balances between two people, the feeling of love and sorrow is the balance of love.

Altruistic love

This love occurs usually between a mother and her child, between love and compassion that has no limits. Even though our mother always looks troublesome in taking care of us, she still loves us.

This love comes from an emotional and rational sense, this love cannot be expected. Another example is the feeling of love that comes from first sight, even though you may not be able to have it even make it happy but you can still love it.
