I for one don't think it's good to take revenge because I believe so much in karma. No matter how hurtful and painful the act someone might have done to you just try to let go unless it's a criminal act then you can report to the police or rightful authorities.
If it's not one that can be considered to be a criminal act. Then just leave the person and let karma decides. For whatsoever one do today always comes back hunting them.
I won't advise revenge also because you might end up hurting yourself when trying to get it.
It depends. Ask from yourself. Is he/she did something unforgivable thing to you. Does it even worth your precious time to revenge? If somebody did it undeliberately then its bad to revenge? Most of the people don't feel good after revenge.
