Weku currency isn't more than steem currency in value and that's simply because weku currency doesn't have a value yet.

Right now it's value is still speculative and it isn't being traded on any exchange yet. Weku itself was based off of the steem blockchain so I expect that when it actually does start being traded, it's value will probably settle at a price that's similar to STEEM.
