Some are saying how streaming on vimm.tv is much better experience, that might be correct - but they can't reward their streamers in a way DTube can (at least for now).
I honestly believe Vimm has great potential & it will develop, so I can see in the near future at least some kind of delegation heading their way
On the other hand, DTube is well established Dapp & they usually take care of all the problems related to their app, so if there is problems with streaming they will get solved (I didn't try it out yet)
If you keep in mind how they are a whale (1 000 000+ SP), they could be a better choice (at least for now) for new users to stream - since that kind of support will ensure them growth on the platform & allocating some SP their way
So yeah, it depends. If you are a millionaire & don't care about the money, then you can buy yourself 1 000 000 SP & support your streams on the Vimm network alone :D
Otherwise, I'd advise you to use DTube firstly or even better use BOTH platforms! and see how it goes :)
I personally believe that DTube should and always be a video uploading platform first, and I think a live streaming service like Vimm.tv should specialize in doing live-streaming. The user experiences will always be different.
I've heard from a couple of users that tried streaming on Dtube that the experience isn't as enjoyable as it is on Vimm.tv. I haven't personally tried streaming on Dtube yet, so I can't tell from my experience but, from all of what I have heard from people who did stream on Dtube is that Vimm.tv is generally a much better option than Dtube.
This might change in the future as Dtube just released the streaming option not so long ago, but for now, Vimm.tv is definitely a better choice.
Some steemit users were using Dtube even when dlive was still around, so i think majority of the users would switch to Dtube. Though vimm is also a good alternative, so most users would chose based on their preference
It depends on your goals!

I haven't streamed but have watched on both and Vimm.tv is far superior to D.Tube. I hope another option becomes available soon though.
