Would ilike tobe paid my salary in cryptocurrencies?
This is a very good question actually , these kind of question can show us how much cryptocurrencies are trusted in the real world so we can take an idea about what we need to do next and the obstacles we need to overcome to bring crypto into the surface as a trusted technology, because many people talk about the blockchain and cryptocurrencies as if they trust it blindly but when it comes to real decisions, daring decisions, many stand back and say "i'll stand back and watch and analyse then i'll decide what to do", good or not good , this fact is slowing down the growth and of the crypto world and slowing down the adoption of cryptocurrencies and solutions based on the blockchain technology in general.
So as a part of this community, and as i'm sure that it is future, and it will take the world in an unexpected way, in an unexpected good way i mean, i'll gladly accept to be paid in any solid cryptocurrencie , many will say that this is too risky and even stupid and they may be right in a way but not right along the way , because if you are a part of a community and you claim that you trust this community and you are working for the good of it, so you must be daring and "DO" sometimes, i can see it like a revolution, if i'm a part of the revolution i must be a part of it, and not just watch others do the job for me all the time because i agreed to be part of it so my presence should be valuable, if everybody stands back, the cause will surely fail.
I don't think i want to be paid in cryptocurrency because of a few reasons.
First of all crypto is very volatile. Especially in this current bear market if you would get paid in cryptocurrency you risk that it can become worth less. This wouldn't be a problem if you get paid in a stablecoin like true usd. Because i'm not convinced it's a good thing getting you whole salary paid in something speculative like crypto when you have bills to pay every month.
You can maybe ask your boss to get paid in cryptocurrency for a certain percentage, let's say 20% of your wage. But you could also buy the cryptocurrency yourself and then you can try to time the market better. Because when your boss will pay your salary in cryptocurrency at a certain date every month, the exchange rate might not always be in your favour.
Also most of the time you will need to convert (a portion of) the cryptocurrency back to fiat because we still pay most things in life with fiat. You don't pay taxes in cryptocurrency, you don't pay in the shopping mall with crypto etc. At least on most places on earth this is not the case.
I would have get paid in a hybrid way. I think sometimes, it is really tough for us to carry any cash all the time. I believe that it's good too to have been paid in cryptocurrency. It can rise in value which is one of the good sides of having paid in cryptos. I am really sure one day, when cryptos become stabilized it will replace cash.
It relies upon the idea of our work, particular money, and the rate at which we were being paid....If we acknowledged a yearly rate then that would require an extraordinary hypothesis. In any case, if the money we were being repaid in were balanced for the market and the cash had an immediate relationship to our work flow....such as keeping up a brilliant contract library or github repository....then that would be an alternate story.
I will not accept my salary in crypto currencies because when market is high the company pays me at a market price but after few days price of crypto currency goes down and so my salary also decrease so I don't like to take my salary in crypto currency.
Crypto currency are never stable so price suddenly goes up or suddenly goes down.
Due to market we can have a good profit if price goes up but if price goes down they we suffers a loss and by the family problems arises and the crypto currency is running with a luck .so don't take the salary in crypto rather then dollar.
