7-Day Wayback Music Challenge: Day 6 - Whitney Houston; Greatest Love Of All

This is my day six of the #musicwaybackchallenge, and once again, thanks to @ruth-girl for nominating me. It's been fun-filled. I’ve fulfilled the last rule, and I’m following the greek-trail, so permission again to use the greek-trail tag.

Okay, let's look at this cool song by Whitney Houston

This is another song that lit up my college years, and it is so packed with messages of hope for the younger folks. The truth is; any system (whether government of private) that does not have plans for the young folks does not have plans for the future. Just like we have been made to understand that "children are the future leaders", and this was buttressed by Whitney Houston in this particular stanza:

I believe the children are our future

Also, there's a particular stanza that draw my attention everytime I listen to this song; and that is:

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadow

Truism; you have everything you need to succeed embedded inside you, all you need to do is to believe. As a matter of precision, you are absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life, and that is defined in your actions and inactions. That is why we should have a sense of pride that we are the heroes we desire. Just like Whitney said:

Everyone is searching for a hero..
... I learned to depend on me

Pheww!! 6 days gone; 1 to go.
