[Music Discovery] This week I 'ave been mostly listenin' to...
Motion City Soundtrack - Commit This To Memory
Label: Epitaph
Genre: Emo/Pop Rock
Commit This To Memory, released in 2005, is the follow up to Motion City Soundtracks first album I Am the Movie and was produced by Mark Hoppus (of Blink-182). The band first formed way back in 1997, but their debut wasn't released until 2002 after Mark Hoppus decided to join the band in their recording efforts as a result of the two bands touring together.
Commit This To Memory is probably my personal favourite of all their albums, although their first three full albums are all really good and worth checking out if you haven't already. If you're a fan of Blink-182 or Taking Back Sunday, I think you'll very much enjoy this one.
Are there any albums or artists you think I might enjoy? Let me know down in the comments, or post your own #MusicDiscovery recommendation!
