Determine the genre of music you want to create
This is the most basic thing when starting a track, just as a goal. Maybe you guys want to make music with rock, metal or dubstep genre, you can also make a fuse genre trap.
Hear an example of the genre you want to create
Once you decide which genre you want to create, you have to hear many genres you want to go to, for example, if you want to make metal music, listen to metal music from a variety of musicians or certain metal bands you like.

It's that musician or band, or the people around us forget, openness.
Well, so it's music depends on the taste of people, but you can NOT even condemn the music genre of a musician (or profession person). Think first before criticizing the work of people, it could be a time, sometimes you accidentally hear certain genres and love it.
