THE CALLING - Wherever You Will Go
Remembered with the hit single "Wherever You Will Go", the song hosted by Los Angeles American rock band The Calling was popular at the time and became the theme song of Smallville TV series aired by one of the private TV. The song was taken from the album Camino Palmero released in July 2001 and the album was a success in the market later followed by other singles such as Adrienne, Could It Be Any Harder, and Stigmatized.

The Calling band, founded by Alex Band and Aaron Kamin, was formed in 2000 with five members :
- Alex Band (vocals),
- Aaron Kamin (guitar),
- Sean Woolstenhulme (guitar),
- Billy Mohler (bass),
- Wood (drums).
Their first album Camino Palmero sold up to five million copies worldwide but after soaring their name one of the personnel Sean Woolstenhulme surprisingly resigned from The Calling and join the band Lifehouse. Sean's position was later replaced by Dino Meneghin. Problems re-emerged in 2002 after Sean Billy Mohler and Wood also resigned and the problem grew hardened precisely in 2003 where Mohler and Wood sued his former band for royalty fraud issues.
Their second album was released in June 2004 with the title Two. This title is also the reason why Two because this is their second album and the album is also lived with two members. In this album has three singles hits namely Our Live, Hal Will Go My Way, and Anything but the seller is not as successful on their first album Camino Palmero.
Officially in 2005 eventually the band broke up Alex finally decided to pursue solo career.
