Alter Bridge is an Rock band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2004

"ALTER BRIDGE" names comes from a bridge built along on Alter Street route around Detroit, Michigan, near the house where Tremonti grew up. The bridge at the intersection of Alter and Korte, which forms the border between Detroit and Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, where Mark spent his childhood.

Alter Bridge with the presence of Tremonti, Phillips and Marshall who were once in a group (creed), it is no longer in doubt if their sustainability in ALTER BRIDGE still implies a red thread with CREED, but this time with a more dynamic breath and a song that could be better musical. In "Open Your Eyes" which also became the first single from this album, looks the composition that displays Tremonti sing more harmonious than before though while picking melody. The presence of Myless who is also a guitarist with amazing vocalization approach capabilities, he has given ALTER BRIDGE songs become good to heard.

Alter Bridge signed with Wind-Up Records and released their debut album, "One Day Remains", August 10, 2004. The album produced three singles and achieved gold status in the US and international platinum.
