According to Big Hit, 280,000 tickets for 21 Love Yourself concerts in 10 locations on both continents were sold from May 5 to June 1, 2018.
BTS will host 14 in North America, namely Los Angeles, Oakland, Fort Worth, Newark, and Chicago, as well as in Hamilton in Canada.
For Europe, BTS will perform London (UK), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Berlin (Germany), and Paris (France).
The Love Yourself concert tour will start from the Olympic Stadium in Seoul on 25 and 26 August 2018. But the ticket sales for the concert have not been opened yet.
Meanwhile BTS continues to record achievements with his latest album, Love Yourself: Tear. Released on May 18, 2018, the boyband's third full album was immediately topped the Billboard 200.
That achievement made BTS the first K-pop artist to lead Billboard's most popular album ranking. The song's mainstay of the album, "Fake Love", managed to penetrate the top 10 Billboard Hot 100.
In the country, "Fake Love" also managed to win awards in several television music programs such as Inkigayo, Music Core, and Music Bank. BTS has collected 8 awards from these events.
