RE: Vinyl has given me a new appreciation for music
So true. Back in the vinyl LP days half the fun was the album art and liner notes and lyrics. There was a company called Hypnosis that did some amazing covers which gave the music a visual image on top of the audio. Roger Dean also did some great art. You just don't get that same experience anymore.
There are albums that I have two copies of, simply because I wanted to get one of the special edition colors. Two of my favorites include one that is a Coke bottle clear, and a clear vinyl with a red and black smoke pattern.
